New Insurance Licensing Regulations

As of May 19, 2021, there are new insurance licensing regulations passed by the National Council of Insurance Legislator (NCOIL). For Azamara, these new regulations require all U.S. travel advisors who wish to purchase CruiseCare travel protection must certify they have registered and taken the UStiA platform training related to offering and disseminating travel insurance.

The United States Travel Insurance Association has created a centralized process where travel advisors can register with one or more member insurance carriers via one training method.

The online process is quick, easy and free of charge:

1.            Sign up at https://www.ustiaregistry.org/

2.            Watch the training video.

3.            Select the carriers whose insurance products you want to offer.

4.            You’re registered!
